Incident Narrative: Bozeman Firefighters responded to a report of a semi tractor trailer that had
jackknifed at mile marker 309 on 190 and was leaking diesel fuel. We used
small plastic tubs to contain the remainder of the fuel. Approximately 230
gallons of diesel fuel leaked onto the ground. We also used an absorbant
material to soak up the remaining fuel that was on top of the median surface
between the roads. We stayed on scene until the vehicle was moved safely from
the accident scene.

Incident Narrative: Bozeman Firefighters responded to a report of a fire at 1232 W. Babcock #5.
Upon arrival we had flame and smoke showing and the trailer house appeared
to be fully involved. We performed an initial fire attack on the fire and had the
fire knocked down quickly. We then worked on extinguishing the remaining
hot spots in the trailer. The occupants of the trailer escaped without injury. The
cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. Firefighters from Belgrade,
Rae and Sourdough Fire Departments responded to both Bozeman fire stations
to respond to all other 911 calls. Montana Power turned off the power and gas
to the building while city street crews sanded streets to prevent any possible
auto accidents. Bozeman Police, city water department and AMR ambulance
personnel also responded to the incident.

gasoline leak from a vehicle's gas tank. On scene personnel were unable to stop
the leak, so the gasoline was contained in make shift catch pans and transferred
to gas cans. The gasoline on the ground was picked up with the use of an
absorbent and removed.

was behind the fire place and had extended up the wall and into the attic.
Firefighters knocked the fire down right away and prevented furthur damage 0
the structure. The occupant woke up by accident, there were no smoke
detectors in the house.
