We used small plastic tubs to contain the remainder of the fuel. Approximately 230 gallons of diesel fuel leaked onto the ground. We also used an absorbant material to soak up the remaining fuel that was on top of the median surface between the roads. Upon arrival we had flame and smoke showing and the trailer house appeared to be fully involved. We performed an initial fire attack on the fire and had the fire knocked down quickly. We then worked on extinguishing the remaining hot spots in the trailer. The occupants of the trailer escaped without injury. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. Firefighters from Belgrade, Rae and Sourdough Fire Departments responded to both Bozeman fire stations to respond to all other 911 calls. Montana Power turned off the power and gas to the building while city street crews sanded streets to prevent any possible auto accidents.
