Incident Narrative: Fire personnel responded to the location of a controlled burn that had been
burning during the day light hours, and found that it had reignited or was still
burning. An investigation of the scene suggested that the personnel who had
been working the fire had tried to cover the fire and thus extinguish it.
However, the dirt they used to cover the fire had to much debris and wood in it
and allowed the fire to continue burning. On scene personnel assisted the
owner/contractors with extinguishing the fire.

that the smoke had a rubber smell and conducted an extensive search of the
