The hazardous material involved was estimated to be about 10 to 20 gallons of regular unleaded gasoline that had been spilled at a gas station in Belgrade. One Hazardous Materials team member responded to the scene and assisted in advisory capacity only. The state was notified and the scene was secured. When the emmidiate hazard of the fumes had disapated, the scene was turned over to the manager with instructions to maintain a restriction zone around the drain hole that contained most of the spill. On arrival fire personnel were informed by the occupants, that the fire was out, but they wanted it checked out. Fire personnel investigated the scene and found that the fire was indeed out, but the smoke was still presenting a problem. Fireman used a positive pressure fan to push the smoke out of the apartment.
