INTRODUCTION
The City's outside counsel, Gough, Shanahan, Johnson and Waterman have requested that
Tetra Tech provide copies of all hard copy documents and papers, electronic files and emails
pertaining to the Bozeman Landfill since the start of Tetra Tech's work on the site. This covers
over 20 years of documents, including records from predecessor companies (Maxim
Technologies, Northern Engineering etc.) that are stored in multiple Tetra Tech offices and
servers.
The majority of home mitigation systems have been through periodic inspections for at least one
year. They will now be inspected on an annual basis, unless the homeowner identifies a
problem that needs to be addressed. However, the mitigation systems in six homes underwent
significant modifications last winter and spring (e.g., new fans or additional extraction points)
and will require quarterly inspection for at least one more year per DEQ guidance.
This task order includes the following work activities;
• Compile documents, electronic files, emails maps, CAD files and other information
relative to Tetra Tech and its predecessor company's work on the landfill and provide
information to the City's outside counsel.
• Continue to respond to homeowner requests for information, system monitoring,
modifications and other issues. Triple R mitigation just submitted costs for system
modifications made over the last 4 months.
• Conduct quarterly inspection of the six homes that had significant mitigation system
modifications in early 2015 for up to one year.
• Respond to City requests for information or assistance, and attend meetings, as needed.
The mitigation system inspections and reporting will occur as needed through between May
2015 and April 2016. The responses to homeowner requests and City requests are likely to be
ongoing, so a specific timeline cannot be projected. The compilation of project records was
initiated in April and is ongoing and is anticipated to be completed in July 2015.

COSTS
Estimated costs to complete the foregoing scope of services are $49,048, as detailed in Table 1.
The services will be conducted on a time and materials basis.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Execution of this Task Order constitutes acceptance of all terms and
conditions contained in Tetra Tech's Professional Services Agreement with the City of Bozeman,
dated January 3, 1994 and Amendment Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Professional Services
Agreement dated July 31, 1995; January 1, 1996; March 17, 1997; and December 10, 2001,
respectively.
