A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF CERTAIN ITEMS FROM THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN POLICE DEPARTMENT TO OTHER GOVERNMENT
AGENCIES WITHIN THE STATE OF MONTANA.
WHEREAS,the City of Bozeman Police Department has recently purchased new
intoximeters used to verify the levels of alcohol on the breath of persons; and
WHEREAS,the intoximeters replace older, less reliable intoximeters that have minimal
value and are no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, the Gallatin County Drug and Alcohol Services has a need for three
intoximeters; and
WHEREAS, Article 6, Div. 5, Bozeman Municipal Code, grants the City of Bozeman
the power to donate property which is no longer necessary for the conduct of City business; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana;
Section 1
The City Commission hereby determines the three Intoximeters to be replaced are no longer
necessary for the conduct of City business and it is in the best interest of the City to donate the
three Intoximeters to Gallatin County Drug and Alcohol Services.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 8th day of June, 2015.
