from 1816 Remington Way. Upon arrival, firefighters located the fire with the
assistance of Bozeman Police and residents at 1818 Remington Way. The fire
was trash on an upper stairway landing that had melted siding off the adjacent
wall. A fire cause investigator was called to the scene and determined the fire
may have been caused by carelessly discarded smoking materials on the
stairway landing.

perimeter of the building, the roof and the water heater room and found no gas
leaks. Possible cause of the odor could be from the heaters on the roof starting
