Incident Narrative: Bozeman Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the sign on the front of
Corral West Ranchwear. We requested a special resource from Rae Fire
Department and later upgraded to a Structure Fire Levell. Fire Department
personnel from Rae, Belgrade, Sourdough and Bozeman fought the fire for
over four hours before the fire was determined to be out. The fire was started
by an electrical transformer located behind the parapet wall on the front of the
building on the roof. The fire spread into the parapet wall and into the roof
over the walkway in front of the building and then travelled to the North and
South of the fire origin. The fire was confined to the outside ofthe building
and none of the store's inventory was damaged.

Incident Narrative: Fire personnel were dispatched to 1525 West Main to an activated sprinkler
alarm, but were canceled in route by the dispatch center when they found out
that it was a false alarm. One engine and crew continued to the scene with out
emergency lights and siren to investigate. On scene personnel found that the
alarm had been triggered by the water department who had to shut off a water
main for repairs.
