ORDINANCE NUMBER 648.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN NARROWING EIGHTH AVENUE
SOUTH, IN SAID CITY, BY VACATING AND DISCONTINUING THE EAST
SIX FEEl' AND THE WEST, SIX "EEl' OF SAID AVENUE BETWEEN THE
SOUTH LINE OF MAIN STREET AND THE SOUTH LINE OF HARRISON
STREET, IN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO COMMISSION RESOLUTION
NUMBER 262, OF SAID'qITY, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 23rd
DAY OF MARCH, 1934.
WHEREAS ~ On the 23rd day of Maroh, 1934, Commission Resolution No. 262

of the City of Bozeman, entitled:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISS10N OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN}
MONTANA, DECLARING IT TO BE THE INTENTION OF THE CITY~ . _,: ,,'
BOZEMAN TO NARROW EIGHTH AVENUE SOUTH, IN SAID CITY, :e_ --
VACATING THE EAST SIX FEEl' AND THE WEST SIX FEET "OF SAlD

. of hearing thereon was given, as appears of record in the offioe of the
Clerk of the City Commission; and :'
WHEREAS : On said hear~ng there were no objections made or filed against
the action proposed to be taken by "said Commission Resolution No. 262. Now,
- therefore, in consideration of the preDl.ises,and the City Commission finding
as a fact that suoh narrowing of Eighth ATenue South oan be done without
detriment to the public interest,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN: ,

Seotion 1. I
That six feet off of the east side and siz feet off of the west sit"
of Eighth Avenue South, aocording to the official plat thereof, in the City
of Bozeman, state of Montana, be, and ,the same is hereby vacated and
discontinued for street purpose~ and use.
Seotion 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and atter thirty
days ,rom its passage and adoption.
Passed and adopted by the Commi8,alQIl of the City of Bozeman at a
regular session thereof held on the 27th day of April, 1'.iil34.

Bozeman, hereby oertify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 648, of the City
ot Bozeman, Montana, was published by title in the Bozeman Daily
Chronicle, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in said City of Bozeman, in the issue of April 29, 1934, and that due
proof of said publication was made and filed in m,y offioe.
