ORDINANCE NO. 638
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL SALARY OR COMPENSATION OF THE CITY MANAfiJER,
THE HEADS OF DEPARTMENTs.sAND'THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY COMMISSION, PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5507, R.C.M. 1~21, AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 173
LAWS OF THE NINETEENTH LEGISLATIVE ASS~LY OF. 'TEE STATE OF MONTANA.
PREAMBLE: Whereas, the City Commission is requireo by law to fix
by annual ordinance the salary or compensation of the City Manager, the I... .
Heads of Departments and its own employees; therefor :
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1. (a) That the City Manager shall have and receive the
sum of $300.0~ per month as salary and compensation for services as City
Manager, and that his said salary is hereby fixed at said amount; that said
monthly salary shall be charged to and paid from the following funas, to-
wit: -
$125.00 from the General Fund q-",._.
$175.00 from the Water Fund., ":.,,'
This salary shall include all services as Head of the Department of se':rvio~E.
Department of Welfare and Department of Safety; and his bond shall be in the
sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00).
(b) That the Polioe Judge shall have and receive the sum of
$60.00 per month as salary and compensation for services as Police Judge,
and that his said salary is hereby fixed at said amount; that said monthly
salary shall be oharged to and P8. id from the General Yund. The Bond' of the. . '1:

(d) That the Director of Finance shall have and receive for all
services rendered, the sum of $190.00 per month, and that his said salary is
hereby fixed at said amount; that said monthly salary shall be Charged to
and paid from the following funds, to-wit:

The Eond of the Head of the Department of Finance shall be in the sum of

(e) That the Clerk of the Commission shall receive the sum of

Section 2. The salaries and bonds as fixed by this Ordinance
shall be efteetiveas of the first day of January, 1934.

of the City ot Bozeman, Montana, was published by title in the.Bozeman'
Daily Chronicle, a daily nwwspaper of general ciroulation, printed and
published in the said City of' Bozeman, in the issue of January 9, 1934,
and that, due proof of said publication was made and filed in my office.
