AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 470 ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO R. W. LYSLE, HIS SUCCESSORS OR
I ASSIGNS, TEE RIGHT TO ERECT, EQUIP 1 OPERATE, AND MAINTAIN
A GAS PLANT FOR THE PURPOSE OF N~KING, PRODUCING, DIS-
TRIBUTING AND SELLING TN THE CITY OF BOZE1~N, INCLUDING
EACH AND EVERY ADDITION THEREOF, IN THE COUNTY OF GALLATIN,
STATE OF MONTANA, AND TO LAY, EXTEND, lvLAINTAIN, OPERATE,
REPAIR AND REMOVE MAINS AND PIPES IN, THROUGH AND UNDER
THE STREETS, AVENUES, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC GROUNDS OF THE SAID ..
CITY FOR THE TRANSPORTATION AND SUPPLY OF MANUFACTURED OR
NATURAL GAS FOR FUEL, ILL~tINATING, HEATING, COOKING AND
POWER PURPOSES FOR THE SAID CITY AND ITS INHABITANTS.1t

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZE1~N:
Sec. 1. That Ordinance No. 470 entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO R. W. LYSLE, HIS SUCCESSORS OR
ASSIGNS, THE RIGHT TO ERECT, EQUIP, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN
A GAS PLANT FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING, PRODUCING, DIS-
WRIBUTING AND SELLING IN THE CITY OF ro ZEMAN, INCLUDING
EACH AND EVERY ADDITION THERETO, IN THE COUNTY OF GALLATIN,
STATE OF :MONT ANA, AND TO LAY, EXTEND, N'tAINTAIN, OPERATE,
REPAIR AND REMOVE MAINS AND PIPES IN, THROUGH AND UNDER THE
STHEETS, AVENUES, ALLEY'S AND PUBLIC GROUNDS OFTRE SAID CITY
FOR THE TRANSPORTATION AND SUPPLY OF 1UiliUFACTRU~D OR NATURAL

be and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 2. That Ordinance No. 470 is repealed for the reason that it
never became operative, that the.grant of the franchise therein contained
-I is null and void.
Sec. 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinanceB._ in conflict

herewith are her~by repealed. :
Sec. 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after thirty days after its final passage.
Introduced and read and tentatively passed at a regular session of the
Commission of the Ci ty of Bozeman held on the 4th day of October, 1929;
final passage of ordinance fixed for a regular session of the Commission of
the City of Bozeman to be held on the 11th day of October, 1929.
Finally passed by the Commission of the City ofBdzeman, at a regular
session thereof held on the 11th day of October, 1929.

MontSl,na, do hereby oertify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 579 of the
City of Bozeman, Montana, was published by printing at length in the Bozeman I
Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and
published in the Ci ty of Bozaman, in the issues of Oot. 15 to 17, 1929, and
that due proof of said publication was made and filed in my office.
