'-.. , AN ORDINAl'ICE RELATING .TO THE PUBLIC PEACE., 88,,-._.J .... .. r~ol /,,~ Repeals Ordinance No~- ;;-~d ','.' ---. ,..~ - ....i .........iiV., BE IT OHDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN: I Sec. 1. No person shall, within the limits of the City of Boze- man, commit an assault or assault and battery upon the person of another. Sec. 2. No person shall, within the limits of the City of Boze- man, carry or bear concealed upon his person a dirk, dagger, pistol, re v 0 1- ver, slingshot, sword, cane, billy, knuckles made of any metal or hard sub- stance, knife having a blade four inches long or longer, razor, not in'clud- ing a safety razor, or other deadly weapon. Sec. 3. "Concealed weapons" shall mean any weu.pon mentioned in the foregoing Section, which shall be wholly or partially covered by the clothing or wearing apparel of the person so _ carrying or bearing the o d' 'In r",. , ",'- :"'''''11'''''', " weapons. The provisions of this Ordinance shall not apply to the persons designated in Section 11304 of the Revised Codes of Montana of 1921, nor shall it apply to such persons as may be granted permission to carry or bear concealed weapons as provided by Section ll306 of said Codes. I Sec. 5. No person shall, within the limits of the City of Boze- man, build any bonfire in any public street, square, or vacant lot, or take part in any torch-light procession, or disoharge any fi rearm, without a special permit from the mayor of said city; provided, that it shall not be a vi ola ti on of this ordinance, or any other ordinance of the City of Boze- man relating to the discharge of firearms, to discharge firearms within the City Limits of said ci ty over and along any rifle range which may be laid out and established under authority, permission or sanction of the National Guards of the State of Montana, in, over and across Blocks Seventy-seven (77), Eighty (SO) and Eighty-one (Sl) and the street and alley intersections of said blocks, in the Northern Pacific Addition to said City of ~ozeman. Sec. 6. No two or more persons shall, within the CitY-Limi~s of the City of Bozeman, assemble together with an intent to do ally unlawful act with force or violence against the property of the city, or against the per- . son or property of another, or against. the peace" or to the terror of any other person, or make any movement of preparation for so doing. I Sec. 7. Any person vialat1})g- any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred Dollars (;~300.00), or by imprisonment in the County or City " ... . Jail for not more than ninety (90) days, or by both' fine and imprisonment; and in case a fine is imposed the judgment Impoi;Jing such fine may also direc t, i~ case the fine be not paid, that such person be imprisoned in the County 0 r City Jail until the fine be satifiified, in the proportion of one ) , ;". That Ordinance No. 18, being an ordinan::e "To Prevent the Use and Exhibition of Deadly Weapons", Ordinance No. 108, being an ordinance "Relating to the Public Peaoe", and Ordinance No. 496, being I "An Ordinance Relating to Concealed Weapons, Prohibiting the- Carrying Thereof and Repealing Certain Ordinances Pertaining Thereto", be, and the same are hereby repealed.
