ORDINANCE NO. 546.
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPT ING LOT l2 AND THE WEST EIGHT FEET OF LOT II IN
BLOCK 101 OF TF!E NORTHEIm PACIFIC ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BOZEMAn AS
A PUBLIC STREET AN:!) NAMING THE SAlE "MITCHELL A VENUE" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C01lITHSS ION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN:
Section 1. 'THAT WHEREAS, John Mitchell, a widower, Thoma!? H. I
Rea and Mabel E. Rea, husband and wife, ,and Ro'hertM. Esgar and Mary L.
Esgar, husband and wife, did on the 20th day of August, 1924, ma~ce,
execute and deliver to the City of Bozeman, Montana, a Deed for Lot 12
and the West Eight feet of Lot 11 in Block 101 of the Northern Pacific
Addition to the City of Bozeman, Gallatin County, Montana, conveying said
described land to the City of Bozeman, Montana, for street purposes, and ~ :
which said Deed is recorded in Book 67 of Deeds at page 454 of the records
of the County Clerk of Gallatin County, Montana;
A.nd Vlhereas, the City of Bozeman, Montana, has accepted said
Deed to said lands for street purposes and it is desired to make formal
acceptance of the same and to name and designate said Street by Ordinance.

Section 2. That the City of Bozeman accepts the-lands, to-wit,
Lot 12 and the West Eight feet of Lot II in Block 101 of the Northern
Pacific Addition to the City of Bozeman, Montana, conveyed to it by Deed
recorded in Volume 67 of Deeds at page 454 of the records of the County I
Clerk of said Gallatin County, Montana, for Street purposes.
Section 3. That said tract of land is hereby designated and de-
clared to be a pUblic street of the City of Bozeman, Montana, and the same

shall be named and known as "Mitchell Avenue".
Passed, adopted and approved January 29, 1925.

I, Walter Davis, Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozeman,
hereby certify that the number and title of the foregoing Ordinance No. 546
of the City of Bozeman, Montana, Was published once within ten days after
its passage, to-wit: On the 30th day of January, 1925, in the B oz eman
Daily Chronicle, a daily ne~Bpaper of g~neral circulation printed and I
published in the City of Bozeman, Montana, and that due proof of said pub-
lication was made and filed in my office.

man, Montana, hereby certify that a notice for public hearing on the fore-
,going Ordinance No. 545 was published once on the 18th day of December,
1924, and that a complete copy of said Ordinance No. 545, together with a
tabulated comparison of the actual expenditures for the years 1922, 1923
and 1924, was published once on the 18th day of December, 1924, in the
Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper of general circulation, print-
~. ed and 'published in the City of Bozeman, Montana, and that due proof of
said publications was made and filed in my office.
