Message: For Consent Agenda item #6 on 6/8: Bozeman Business and ProfessionalWomen (BBPW) helps businesswomen grow professionally, politically and personally.A huge part of what we do includes education on the gender wage gap, andadvocating for equal pay for equal work for women. The BBPW LegislativeCommittee has taken on an ambitious, exciting campaign to bring real change andresults for Bozeman women. As President, I am extremely proud of the hard workand dedication that has led us to the Equal Pay for Equal Work Resolution beforeyou now. The EPEW Resolution gives the City of Bozeman the incredible opportunityto set a precedent in closing the gender wage gap in the community. I am alsograteful for the enthusiasm and willingness from the city to work on this resolution.
