SUBJECT: Baxter/Davis Intersection Improvements Project - Amendment No. 1.
MEETING DATE: June 8th, 2015
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign Amendment No. 1 with
Robert Peccia and Associates.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy of the partially executed Amendment No. 1 with Robert
Peccia and Associates for the Baxter/Davis Intersection Improvements Project. The document is
in the City’s standard format.
The original professional services agreement for the project only included the predesign task.
That task compared the installation of a roundabout and a signal at the intersection culminating in a presentation to the Commission. At that meeting, the Commission decided to go forward with the signal option. This amendment is to add the design phase services for the signal to the
project.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission
FISCAL EFFECTS: 92,582 from the Street Impact Fee and Community Transportation Funds.
