Re: Notice of Disclosure
Dear Mr. Sullivan:
In accordance with Section 2.03.570 "Public Notice Required," which states: During the
first 12 months following the date on which the formal or informal appearance before or
negotiate with any decision maker, shall file with the clerk of the city commission and
with the office of the city attorney a public notice of the former public servant's desire
to negotiate, or appear informally or formally before a decision maker. Such written
disclosure shall state in substance the purpose for which the former public servant wishes
to appear or negotiate with the decision maker, the reason for such appearance or
negotiation and a disclosure of all offices or employment held by the former public
servant during the last 12 months of service to the city. Upon filing such written
disclosure, the former public servant is not prohibited from the postemployment
activities proscribed in section 2.03.560.A.1 and 2.
Please accept this letter as formal notice of disclosure that I would like to be a part of the
KLJ team that is submitting on a request for qualifications for a term contract for
engineering services with City of Bozeman Economic Development Department.
Specifically, the contract requires work to be performed directly with the Northeast
Urban Renewal District (NURB). Previously, I was employed by the City of Bozeman as a
Project Engineer. During my time with the City I was tasked with working with the NURB
and served as their engineering representative in administering professional services
contracts and construction projects.
Beginning around 2012 my role with the NURB diminished as my workload on other
projects preventing me from actively participating in their projects. Eventually I no
longer attended their monthly board meetings and all of the professional services
