For Give Big Gallatin Valley 2015
The following are the key messages for the 2015 Give Big Gallatin Valley.We encourage you to use any of these
messages in your own promotional materials with additional help from our Give Big Gallatin Valley Day Promotional
Guide in our online toolkit.
Summary
Give Big Gallatin Valley is a local initiative to increase philanthropy in Gallatin County.This effort is brought to you by the
Bozeman Area Community Foundation.The 2015 Give Big Gallatin Valley will take place during from midnight to
midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. For those 24 hours,online donations will be accepted through www.GiveBigGV.org
with a goal to inspire and unite our community in supporting many local nonprofits.
Key Messages
• 24 hours to give where your heart is
• Give to the nonprofits that make this the place we call home
• Donations made at GiveBigGV.org on May 5 will be eligible for a boost from Match Pool funds* and will help
nonprofits win additional prizes.
• Give Big Gallatin Valley is a part of a National Day of Giving called Give Local America.
• Donate online at GiveBigGV.org
• Official Donor Lounges will be located all over the community on May 5"'to make giving easy! Give at a Donor Lounge
and you will receive free incentives from coffee to cocktails—just for giving!
• Join the community in celebrating Give Big Gallatin Valley on May Sth at our Finale Celebration at the Baxter Hotel
from 6-8pm.This free community event will feature music,drinks, raffle prizes,free food,a photo booth and more!
*Please note that Match Pool funds will not be used for a dollar-for-dollar match.See below for key points about the
match.
Incentive Pool Fund Key Points
• Match Pool funds will be used for both hourly prize challenges and an incentive boost added to the organization's final
total.
• Only donations made online at GiveBigGV.org on May Sth are eligible for Match Pool funds.
• Donations will receive a boost from the Match Pool on a proportional basis. It is not a dollar for dollar match. If an
organization raises 10%of the overall funds on Give Big Gallatin Valley,they will receive 10%of the Stretch Pool of
funds.
