Message: Dear Commissioners, I am writing to express my opposition to re-designating a parcel of land
adjacent to East Gallatin Rec Area as discussed in the May 8 Bozeman Daily Chronicle. At a time when
the city is expanding and expanding--more and more people moving here and more and more land
being paved over and built upon, it would, I believe, be a bad idea to give up a parcel of land designated
for future park land. The brewery by the pond is crowding out wildlife; the houses on the other side of
the pond have crowded out wildlife. This is happening all over and the non human residents of this city
and our county are paying with their lives. When will they be all gone for all intents and purposes within
city limits?
