Attached for your review and execution is the Municipal Facilities Exclusion Checklist form, a copy
of the Preliminary Plat, vicinity map, and a check for the review fee in the amount of $100.00 for
The Lakes at Valley West Subdivision – Phases 1 and 2. This subdivision is part of a Master
Planned Unit Development and will be reviewed and processed through the City of Bozeman.
We are applying for this exclusion based on 76-3-601-2a MCA, which states “When the proposed
subdivision lies within the boundaries of an incorporated city or town, the preliminary plat must be
submitted to and approved by the city or town governing body.” Valley West Subdivision is a
master planned community under the jurisdiction of the City of Bozeman.
