Agriculture Water User Facilities
Agricultural water user facilities are limited, on or adjacent to this project site. Baxter Creek
running along the east edge of the development has transported irrigation water from the south to
the north. Baxter Creek was recently enhanced to resemble more of a stream than the irrigation
channel it became during the past years of agricultural use. The creeks ability to provide water
to downstream users has been maintained, if not improved. A pedestrian bridge is planned to be
constructed to provide an east-west connection from this project to the city park to the east.
Special consideration will be made during the design process to ensure adequate water will pass
for downstream users.
Aajker Creek to the west of the project has similarly been used for transport of irrigation water
from the south to the north. There are no planned impacts to this channel as part of this project.
