Broadleaf Public Street Easement Commission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Brian Heaston, Project Engineer SUBJECT: Authorize the City Manager to sign a Public Street and Utility Easement as Grantee, with Broadleaf LLC as Grantor, to provide for future extension of Maple Lane across land of the Broadleaf Annexation. MEETING DATE: May 4, 2015 AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to sign a Public Street and Utility Easement as Grantee, with Broadleaf LLC as Grantor, to provide for future extension of Maple Lane across land of the Broadleaf Annexation. BACKGROUND: The Broadleaf Annexation is a 0.335 acre tract of land located at the end of Maple Lane. The attached Public Street and Utility Easement will provide right-of-way for future extension of Maple Lane. The easement is 40’ wide, which coincides with the existing right of way width of Maple Lane to the north of the Annexation. Engineering staff has reviewed the document and finds it acceptable.
