Koch Street Demolition Good afternoon, Mayor Krauss and fellow commissioners: As a preservationist, as a citizen of Bozeman, and as a member of the Bozeman Historic Preservation Advisory Board, I was saddened and disappointed to hear of the recent demolition of the house at 402 W. Koch with no regard for the City process. I am grateful and appreciative of the quick action of City Staff in the issuance of a Stop Work Order even though the damage had essentially been accomplished. I would encourage you to impose strict restitution for the blatant disregard of City process, the loss of an irreplaceable contributing resource to the Cooper Park Historic District, and to establish a precedent where by this kind of action will not be tolerated by our City or our City leaders. Thank you for your deepest consideration. Regards, Pat Jacobs Patricia Jacobs, R.A. Principal ARCHitecture trio Indianapolis, IN Bozeman, MT O: 317.917.9042 M: 317.418.6933
