Whenever I am out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than twenty -four (24) consecutive
hours, or in case of an emergency and I cannot be reached, I hereby appoint the Assistant City Manager
as Acting City Manager to act in my stead during my absence.
Whenever I, and the Assistant City Manager, are out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than
twenty -four (24) consecutive hours or in the case of an emergency and neither of us can be reached, I
hereby appoint the Administrative Services Director as Acting City Manager to act in my stead during my
and the Assistant City Manager's absence.
Whenever I, the Assistant City Manager and the Administrative Services Director are out of
Gallatin County, Montana for more than twenty -four (24) consecutive hours, or in case of an emergency
and none of us can be reached, I hereby appoint the Public Works Director as Acting City Manager to act
in my stead during my, the Assistant City Manager's, and the Administrative Services Director's absence.

Works Director are out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than twenty -four (24) consecutive hours,
or in case of an emergency and none of us can be reached, I hereby appoint the Community
Development Director as Acting City Manager to act in my stead during my, the Assistant City
Manager's, the Administrative Services Director's, and the Public Works Director's absence.
Whenever I, the Assistant City Manager, the Administrative Services Director, the Public Works
Director, and the Community Development Director are out of Gallatin County, Montana for more than
twenty -four (24) consecutive hours, or in case of an emergency and none of us can be reached, I hereby
appoint the Police Chief as Acting City Manager to act in my stead during my, the Assistant City
Manager's, the Administrative Services Director's, the Public Works Director's, and the Community
Development Director's absence.
Whenever I, the Assistant City Manager, the Administrative Services Director, the Public Works
Director, the Community Development Director, and the Police Chief are out of Gallatin County,
Montana for more than twenty -four (24) consecutive hours, or in case of an emergency and none of us
can be reached, I hereby appoint the Fire Chief to act in my stead during my, the Assistant City
Manager's, the Administrative Services Director's, the Public Works Director's, the Community
Development Director's, and the Police Chiefs absence.
