SUBJECT: Water Treatment Plant Application Program Software License Agreement
MEETING DATE: March 16th, 2015
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize City Manager to sign the Application Program
Software License Agreement with Pall Corporation.
BACKGROUND: Attached is a copy of the partially executed Application Program Software
License Agreement with Pall Corporation for the Water Treatment Plant Project. The document
has been reviewed by the City Attorney’s office and found to be acceptable.
The City, along with its consultants are currently working with the contractor and membrane
supplier to get all of the closeout documents that are required to finish the project. This agreement will allow the City to use the Pall Corporations Licensed IP for the membrane system, including the right to make additions to the Licensed IP for the purpose of; automated operation
of process system components, instrumentation, data collection, reporting, troubleshooting,
visual information displays and similar process control functions.
