Murphy’s request to have access from Boylan for city utilities. He says he can
only access utilities from Boylan and I understand from our Bridger Creek
Subdivision Community Association that he can actually access utilities from
Commercial Drive. If this information is correct why does a developer not know
it? Or is he misinformed or is he being deceptive?
I am not in favor of any developer building at all on this wetland area. The
existing trail is for public use and enjoyment (hiking, biking, jogging, dog
walking) and there is a plan to work with the Gallatin Valley Trust to
incorporate this land into the city park system. It is a wetland and a habitat
for wild animals and birds. It is a small piece of land near the stream that
supports adjacent open land for public use and should be protected from
development. Please do not give this developer any approval to develop this tract
of land.
