HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-27-15 Hinz, Bridger, Public CommentI oppose the condemnation request for the purpose of an easement leading to what has been termed Bridger Center for the following reasons: Montana State Statutes provide that condemnation requests must be started in the courts. Sec.2.07.040 of City ordinance states that eminent domain procedures shall follow state statutes. This is not a blighted area as required by the city’s urban renewal ordinance. This requested easement is not on publicly owned land and leads to vacant private property that is within the county, not the city. Sewer and power lines could be extended through the Commercial Drive entrance. There is no emergency. I am an adjacent property owner. Shirley Hinz rrangershirl@gmail.com
