I am a Bozeman kid. I have been learning a lot about government
through school, and know that writing to you is the way to help you
understand what the people want. Tom Murphy is trying to get you to
take a private park for his own profit through eminent domain. So
please don’t take this park away.
My brother and I play in that park all the time. I understand that he is
trying to get water. He already has two accesses to his land for toilets
and water, so why would he need three. His land is a wetland was I
have seen cranes, bald eagles, owls and lots of deer. I have even seen
bear scat there. The area he wants eminent domain runs right along
side a trail. I look at the map and see he wants to have that road right
over the trail that I walk on it almost once a week. When I don’t walk I
ski or bike.
So I think that instead of taking eminent domain over the private park,
take away his land where he sets ground fire in his field, keeps his
music and lights on in his camper all night bothering us all. Please take
over his area to protect a wetland area.
So again I ask you save the park and wetland.
