Message: Dear Mayor(s) and Commissioners, I want to sincerely thank you for your
diligent consideration in the Zach Zakovi foundry permit issue. I feel that you saved
our neighborhood from a potentially toxic bullet. And I would like to specifically
thank Mayor Krauss and Commissioner Andrus for your votes against Mr. Zakovi's
sculpture garden. In reality, no one was asking Mr. Zakovi to remove his sculptures,
just move them back out of the setback. I feel that you both looked at the issue at
hand and the character of the person who was asking for the variance. So a very
special thank you to the two of you! Keep up the good work. Erin Shanahan
