Message: Re: March 2,2015 agenda Process for Eminent Domain by Mr. Tom
Murphy. I strongly object. He states he is unable to access City utilities and annex
into the City. That is not true. Access from Commercial Drive is OK I am opposed to
access from Boylan Road and to the City using Eminent Domain:1.Access and
utilities are available from Commercial Drive. 2.There is no public benefit to eminent
domain, only benefit to Mr Murphy. Do not incur taxpayer's expense please 3.
Keeping the park and public trail intact, including open space and wetlands is a
greater public benefit. 4.Development is a problem here;reference past ground water
issues on the Village Green Town homes and Links Condo. Village Greens, Golf
Course Partners had significant cost. What will be affected if more developed occurs.
This land contains a mitigation wetlands since previously wetlands were destroyed.
