Message: Commissioners- As a resident of the Northeast neighborhood, I request
that you deny the request by Mr. Zak Zakovi for an Expansion of Manufacturing
permit. It is odd to me that Mr. Zakovi is requesting such a permit as this past
summer (2014) he verbally told my husband that he was retiring? Is this a move to
up the value of his property? Who knows with Mr. Zakovi. The Northeast
neighborhood has change greatly since Mr. Zakovi first applied for a foundry permit
back in the early 1990s. The core area, where Mr. Zakovi lives, is now almost
exclusively residential. A foundry is not an appropriate addition to a residential
neighborhood. Please do not succumb to the chronic bullying of Mr. Zakovi by
allowing his sculptures in the right-of-way and his request for an Expansion of
Manufacturing permit for a foundry. Thank you for your consideration. Erin
