Message: Greetings, I am writing to strongly urge you to reject the Zakovi
conditional use permit (application Z14346) that is currently before the Commission.
While I have always enjoyed Mr. Zakovi's sculptures and am generally supportive of
him being allowed to keep them where they are, a foundry has no place in an
residential neighborhood. The noise and emissions that would undoubtedly result
from the approval of this permit are completely inappropriate for an R2 zoned area. I
regret that I will be unable to attend Monday night's meeting to state these opinions
in person, due to work and family obligations. In lieu of my attendance, I thank you
