As Zak moved in our neighborhood around 1975, we have had problems with Zak and his noise from his place of business. His attitude against his neighbors is almost unbearable. He makes sure everyone on Plum is in accordance with the law. His foundry expired and we don't really want smoke from his foundry in our neighborhood. One of the reasons his sculptures are not wanted in this neighborhood is because of no off street parking anywhere near his place. Anyone that stops to visit or look at the sculptures has to park in the driving lane. The sculptures could prove to be dangerous for children who might want to be near them. It should be the neighbors near his place of business that determines what is good and bad about his place of business..Anyone else from two blocks to eight miles should be less considered. I talked to many people who signed for his sculptures to stay, did not know what they were signing. He just asked if they liked them. They are nice sculptures, but if he wants to enlarge his business, I would suggest moving to a larger place in an industrial area, not in an R-2 zone where we can raise our children without worrying about grouchy neighbors and a safe place to live.
