TRAIL CORRIDOR EASEMENT
Clifford K. Christie and Sally Franklin Christie, 1015 East Griffin Drive, Bozeman,
Montana 59715, GRANTORS, in consideration of one dollar ($ 1.00) and for other and valuable
considcration, rcceipt of which is hercby acknowledged, grants to the City of Bozcman, a
Municipal Corporation of the State of Montana, with offices at 411 East Main, Bozeman,
Montana 59715, GRANTEE, a pcrpetual trail corridor aeeess easement for purposes of
preserving open spaec and establishing a public, non-motorized trail that will connect previously
established public trails on nearby lands and thereby provide for and preserve open spacc and
recrcational opportunities and assist in shaping the character, and direction of development of
City of Bozeman. Said eascment shall be a twenty five (25) foot wide strip of land situated in
Gallatin County, Montana, which is located on the following described property:
A portion of the abandoned Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Paeific Railroad
Company's right of way located in Section 31, Township I South, Range 6 East and
morc fully described on attached Exhibits "A" and "B" which by this reference are
made a part hereof.
The GRANTOR warrants that he is lawfully seized and possessed of the real property
described above, that he has and that he will forever defend the title of this propcrty against the
claims of all persons.
The GRANTOR further agrees that the GRANTEE may peaceably hold and enjoy the
rights and privilegcs herein granted without any interruption by the GRANTORS.
The terms, covenants and provisions of this easement shall extend to and be binding upon
the heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors and assigns of the
parties hereto.
