RE: Update to City of Bozeman regarding North Park purchase
Dear Brit,
Please accept this letter and attachment as the formal scheduled update that is required by
section 5 of the Amendment to the Purchase and Sale Agreement for the North Park
property.
The buyers met with the State of Montana DNRC legal counsel and staff on January 23,
2015 in Bozeman at the DNRC offices. The meeting was specifically scheduled to
discuss the Letter of Intent that the Buyers submitted to DNRC on December 11, 2014.
Craig Campbell of DNRC is working to clarify some questions that arose from the
meeting and we expect that information in the immediate future.
We have attached a schedule that illustrates the process that we expect to take place
between now and the closing date. As you can see, there are some items that are flexible
and some that are not. We believe we have estimated conservative amounts of time for
the flexible items. The schedule indicates that DNRC is supposed to order an appraisal.
We expect to submit a revised LOI within the next 7 days and the result should be that
DNRC will then order the appraisal.
