Re: Addition of fluoride to Bozeman drinking water
Dear Mayor and City Commissioners,
This letter is a request that you please read the attached 2013 peer-reviewed, scientific article on
the toxicity of fluoride in drinking water noting no valid evidence that fluoride stops cavities.
Please respond back to me to confirm that you have read this article.
Secondly, I am also requesting that one of you respond back to me whether or not you will
discontinue fluoridating the Bozeman city water that services your constituents and all who drink
Bozeman drinking water. It is my understanding that you as city commissioners have the
jurisdiction to stop this toxic fluoride poisoning of Bozeman water system at any time.
We have a right to un-medicated drinking water. If someone wants to ingest this toxin they can
put it in their own drinking water. PLEASE don’t put it in the water of those who don't want it!
It is unconscionable to use the public drinking venue as a vehicle to give any medications or
supplements. This practice has negligible means of controlling dose.
No other town in Montana fluoridates their drinking water. Canada has discontinued this
practice. Israel has discontinued this practice. Europe does not fluoridate their water. There is
unequivocal evidence that this fluoridation is very toxic. Why are you allowing this to happen?
It is my understanding that the City of Bozeman pays $35,000 for the fluoride to put in the
drinking water. It would cost much, much more than this to dispose of this fluoride as a TOXIC
POISON! The insidious harm to the health of the population drinking this water is
immeasurable and should be of utmost concern to you.
I look forward to your informed response to this email on an issue that I am very concerned
about. People have a right to drink un-medicated, non-toxic water in Bozeman.
