Certainly our neighborhood appreciates that very much. As we stated our concern continues to be the impact of parking on 14`t'. This avenue appears to be somewhat unusual for Bozeman. It is a dead-end at the 200 numbers because of the apartments north of there. It is a long block because Curtis Street does not go through. 12"', 13`h and 14"'. The only entrance and exit from our homes is through Koch. If tthe parking lot is full, the vehicles end up on 14`h. Parking has increased on our part of I4" because several single family homes now have apartments. We have also had impact from the condos on the north because more of them are now apartments, often with more people than there is parking available, without additional payments. Many are college students who are willing to live in crowded conditions to help control costs during the limited time they live in Bozeman. We understand and respect that. The property management enforces limited parking. We get the overflow. I hasten to add that the property management has apparently been more cognizant of our situation the past couple years. It has not been as bad for us. Of course snow and ice agitate the problems. Of course, we know that is just part of the scene. One way to lessen the impact on 14'would be to reduce the number of apartments if there is some way that could work for the owner. Or maybe there is another plan that would prove profitable for the owner. We would also point out that there is a fire hydrant at the north end of this dead end street. Over the years many cars have parked there, with people living or visiting the condos to the north. Leaving notes on the cars has helped. Fires or 911 calls could be more difficult for emergency vehicles. We sincerely hope that a solution can be reached that is satisfactory for all, Thank you, a and Alice Sargent T'
