Re:Statement of Matching Funds to be provided to the City of Bozeman for the purpose of completing
the bike/pedestrian paths along North 19th Avenue.
Dear City Commission,
I am pleased to announce that this year's Bike Ride at The Ridge fundraiser for Collin's Coalition was a
huge success. Each year all funds raised from the event, essentially a high energy spinning class in a
gymnasium full of stationary bikes with slides, and music, are dedicated towards a specific project that
helps move us towards a goal of"Safe Continuous Trails and Bike Routes in Bozeman and Gallatin Valley.
This year's event raised over$10,000 to be used as matching funds provided to the City of Bozeman for
the North 19th project. The exact amount available will be known until all donations come in which
should be in a couple weeks. These funds can made available either this year or next depending on need
but are contingent on construction of the missing bike/pedestrian connections on North 19th during the
2014 and/or 2015 construction season.
It is our privilege to be able to help the City of Bozeman complete these important bike/pedestrian trail
connections.
Respectfully yours,
Tom Keck,Acting Chairman
Collin's Coalition
