WHEREAS, on November 6, 2014 the State of Montana, Department of Labor and Industry, amended ARM 24.301.109 (Definitions), 24.301.131 (International Building Code), 24.301.154 (International Residential Code), 24.301.161 (International Energy Code), 24.301.171 (International Existing Building Code), 24.301.172 (International Mechanical Code), 24.301.173 (International Fuel Gas Code), 24.301.301 (Uniform Plumbing Code), and 24.301.401 (National Electric Code) incorporation by reference, and ARM 24.301.138 and 24.301.139 (fees), 24.301.146 (modifications to the International Building Code), 24.301.361 (plumbing permits), and 24.301.371 (plumbing inspections), exactly as proposed, which adopt, with modifications, the 2014 National Electric Code; 2012 International Existing Building Code; 2012 International Mechanical Code; 2012 International Fuel Gas Code; 2012 International Building Code; 2012 International Residential Code; 2012 International Energy Conservation Code; and the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code; and WHEREAS, on November 6, 2014, the State of Montana, Department of Labor and Industry repealed the prior editions ofthe detailed codes and portions of the detailed codes which directly apply to its jurisdiction. NOW, THEREFORE, effective January 12, 2015, in conformance with the Notice from the State of Montana, Department of Labor and Industry and Bozeman Municipal Code Section 10.02.010, the City of Bozeman hereby adopts those portions of the 2014 National Electric Code; 2012 International Existing Building Code; 2012 International Mechanical Code; 2012 International Fuel Gas Code; 2012 International Building code; 2012 International Residential Code; 2012 International Energy Conservation Code; and the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code which were adopted by the State of Montana, Department of Labor and Industry on November 6, 2014 and which apply to the City of Bozeman jurisdictional area.
