I have expressed concern beforeabout the choice of the Rouse location. I believe that's a bottleneck in the corner ofthe city with so little good access. As I read the Chronicle this morning, a lettersuggested that the soon to be abandoned KMart building might be a location withboth better access to the Interstate as well as North 7th Oak and Tamarack. A moreopen location with easier access such as that seems to me to be a better location allaround. Also, since the property on Rouse is such a prime location, I don't think itwould be difficult to either find a better purpose for the property or sell it. The otherissue I'd like to have you consider is to work with the County again, trying to find amutually beneficial agreement for the building at the location on 19th. With a newlyelected Commissioner, it may be possible to have the county commission be moreamenable. As taxpayers in both the city and county we deserve more considerationfrom the county than we are getting. Consolidating services makes fiscal sense andI'd like to see this issue re-addressed with the County Commission. Sincerely, MaryLee Reese
