- A Zone Map Amendment Application and a Master Plan Amendment
Application to change the land use designation from "Agricultural/Semi-Rural"
in County Zoning District No. 1 to "Urban Residential Infill" and amend the
zoning designation from "SRR" (Semi-Rural Residential) in County Zoning
District No. 1 to "R-3A" (Residential Two Family Medium Density) on a 19.957
acre tract.
Associate Planner Dean Patterson presented the project. He noted that the purpose of this
session is to provide comments for the Staff report for the public hearing. Planner Patterson
presented Mr. Woodward's comments - (1) the water main extension has to be a fully looped
system or a maximum dead end length of no more than 250 feet as measured from point of
connection on West Durston to blow off at end of main, and (2) the water services be no longer
than 150 feet as measured from the property line to the building.
Mr. Foreman explained the drainage of the parcel. He continued with an explanation on how
Meagher will be proposed to be extended. He's hoping to make the Preliminary Plat application
around April 1. Chairperson Skelton suggested Mr. Foreman comment on the irrigation ditch
that may or may not exist on the property. Planner Patterson noted there is a small stream noted
on the map. Mr. Smith commented there is one stream there -- a slough just north of the
property.
Discussion ensued on the acreage and the processes available to develop the property.
Mr. Hixson moved, Planner Patterson seconded, the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried
unanimously by voice vote. Meeting adjourned.
