RE: Permit Renewal Reminder Notification for the MS4 General Pennit, MTR040002
Dear Mayor Jeff Krauss:
The Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System(MS4) General Permit expires on
December 31, 2014.Administrative Rules of Montana(ARM) 17.30.1110(4)requires
that permittees submit a complete application to the Montana Department of
Environmental Quality (DEQ) 30 days prior to expiration of the permit for existing
permittees. As a current permittee under the MS4 General Permit, DEQ is writing to
remind you to submit a complete application and all applicable permit renewal fees prior
to December 1,2014. A fee invoice will be mailed separately prior to December 1, 2014.

Please send a complete permit application and permit renewal fees to the Water
Protection Bureau at the following address:
