A CITY COMMISSION RESOLUTION LEVYING TAX:ES FOR THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, STATF: OF MON-
TANA, FOR THE YEAR
1925.
BE IT RESOLVED JulD IT IS HEREBY ORDERED BY THE CITY COMJ:HSSION OF THE CITY OF
BOZENIAN:
Sec. l.
That
pursuant to the provisions of Section 5194, Revised Codes
of Mdntana,
Nineteenth Session 1925,
there is hereby levied and assessed against
the asses sed valuation of all property wi thin the Ci ty of Boz em an ,
state of Mon-
tana, not
exempt from taxation, for the year 1925, for general, municipal and ad-
ministrative purposes, a tax of one and 9ne-ha1f per centum (15 mills)
on the per
centum of the assessed value of the taxable property of the City of Bozeman,
the
money derived from said tax to be distributed to funds as follows,
to -wi t :
To General Fund
6-t mills (Six and one-half Mills)
To Fire Fund
2~ mills (Two and one-half Mills)
To street Fund
6 mills
(Six Mills);
Sec. 2.
That pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 233 of said
Ci ty of Bozeman, and
of Council Resolution No.
1095, of said City,
in pursuance of
which the tax authorized for library purposes by the taxpayers at the election held
I
April 4, 1921, was i~creased from one to two mills,
there is hereby levied and
assessed against the assessed valuation of all the property within the City of
Bozeman,
State of Montana,
and not exempt from taxation for the year 1925,
for the
support and maintenance of the free public library of the City of Bozeman,
a special
tax of
Two (2) Mills
on each dollar of the assessed value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall
be distributed to the Library Fund and shall be disbursed as provided by Ordinance
No. 79 of said City;
Sec. 3.
That pursuant to the provisions of Section 5194 Political Code,
Revised Codes of Montana,
1921, there
is hereby levied and assessed against the
assessed valuation of all the property within the City of Bozeman, State of Montana,
not exempt from taxation for the year 1925,

of maintaining public
parks in said city,
a special tax of
Two (2) Mills

on each dollar of the assessed value thereof and the money derived from the collec-
tion of said special tax shall be distributed to the Funding Bonds Sin_king Fund and
shall be disbursed as provided by said Ordinance;
Sec.
5. That pursuant
to the provisions of Ordinance No.
457 of the Ci ty
of Bozeman,
State of Mont~la,
there is hereby levied and assessed against the
assessed valuation of all
the property within the City of Bozeman, State of Montana,
not exempt from taxation, for the year 1925,
for the purpose of paying the interest
on and creating a sinking fund for the redemption of Sewer Bonds of the City of
Bozeman, a special t ax of
One and
one-half (It) Mills
on each dollar of the assessed value thereof and the money derived from the collec-
tion of said special tax shall be distributed to the Sewer Bond Sinking Fund and
shall be disbursed as provided by said Ordinance;
Sec.
6. That pursuant
to the provisions of
Ordinance No. 466 of the City
of Bozeman, State of Montana,
there is hereby levied and assessed against the as-
seased valuati on of all the property wi th in the Ci ty of Bozeman, State of Montana,

not exempt from taxation,
for the year 1925, for the purpose of paying the interest
on and to extinguish the principal of and
to create as a part of a sinking fund for
the redemption of Water Works Bonds
(Ordinance No.
463) and Refunding City Bonds
(Water Works Bonds)
(Ordina.nce No.
467) of the City of Bozeman, a special
tax 0 f

on each dollar of the assessed value tllereof,
and the money derived therefrom,
to-
gether with the net revenue derived from the water supply of the City of Bozeman,
shall be distributed to
the Water Works 1916 Bond }i"'und

and shall
be dis-
bursed as provided by said Ordinance No.
466;
Sec.
7. That pursuant
to the provisions
of Section 5048, Revised Codes
of Montana,
1921, there
is hereby levied and assessed against the assessed valuation
of all the property within the Ci ty of Bozeman, not exempt from taxation,
for the
year 1925, for the purpose of providing for Public Band Concerts for the entertain-
ment of the people of said City,
a special tax of
One-fourth (t) Mill
on each dollar of the
assessed value thereof and the money derived therefrom shall

be distributed to the Band Concert Fund of said City and shall be disbursed as pro-
vided by Ordinance No.
521 of said City.
Passed and adopted by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman at a
regular session thereof held on this 30th day of July, A.D.
1925.
