MMIA Appointment Commission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Chris Kukulski, City Manager SUBJECT: Montana Municipal Interlocal Authority (MMIA) Board of Directors Membership Appointment MEETING DATE: October 27, 2014 RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Administrative Service Director Anna Rosenberry to the MMIA Board of Directors to serve a term of two years, effective October 27, 2014. BACKGROUND: In accordance with the Interlocal Agreement and Bylaws of the MMIA, the City of Bozeman is entitled to appoint a member to the Board to serve a term of two years from the date of the annual meeting. Anna Rosenberry, as administrative services director, oversees many aspects and departments, which have a direct correlation with MMIA. Workers’ compensation, liability and property claims, and employee benefits are the most significant examples. Ms. Rosenberry has served the City for nearly ten years and would be an excellent representative on behalf of the City of Bozeman. ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Commission. FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
