Commissioner, you stated that you are waiting until Monday's meeting to decide onthe fate of the Lenco BearCat G3, a military Counter Attack Truck. What are youthinking? We do not need this Attack Truck. This is not a combat zone. If theresidence of Bozeman see our police driving around in this war machine themessage is that you're adopting a warrior mentality. What will our children make ofthis? They may seem excited but, I would guess FEAR would be in their hearts.I was in Spain when the dictator Franco was in power. I know the fear one feelswhen war use machines are on the streets.
Stop this madness. I find nothing funny about "toys for the boys". Anunquestionable waste of money and time.
City Manager Kukulski and Deputy Police Chief McLane should be fired. They areboth guilty of misuse of funds and not informing the City Commission of theirintentions....way our of line with how our City needs to be run.
