As you are very well aware, this overzealous action for essentially an assault vehicleis anything but free to us taxpayers. Send it back. No if’s, and’s or but’s – it was very wrong on the part of the peopleinvolved to do this. This kind of action should be grounds for dismissal on the part of those involved aswould be the case in the private sector. At the very least, Mr. Kukulski and theother people involved need to be censured publicly for failing to follow properprocedures as established for the City. I strongly urge you, the Commissioners, to take the request of a retroactive actionby the Commission from the City Manager seriously. One such action would be toretroactively rescind Mr. Kukulski’s last pay raise It also begs the question of trust on the part of the citizenry for the actions of ourelected official. As none of you knew about this, you should understand how we feelwhen highly paid public servants sneak around the proper procedures for the verykind of item that is considered a serious problem on the national level – themilitarization of local law enforcement. Send it back. Cut Kukulski’s pay. Censure those others who knew. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Rick Meis and Susan Bolgiano
