To Whom It May Concern:
Please return the recently acquired BearCat attack truck. It is an abomination that apolice department in a remote city of 40,000 even consider having such a vehicle. Ifthe police department wants a rescue vehicle, then it should get one--a vehicle thatis expressly designed to rescue people, not stage some counter attack. It is a wasteof tax dollars (whether local, state, or federal) to have a BearCat in Bozeman. Theexorbitant amount of money spent on the BearCat should be spent to actually help alarge number of people in Gallatin County. If it stays, the BearCat will be a symbolof a bureaucratic blunder and big government arming itself against its owncitizenry.
