Let me lend my distressed voice to others concerned about where our City ofBozeman is headed.
I am glad to learn that the policies have changed, but if the tax paying citizens ofBozeman public had known about the action of applying for this grant you may besure City Commission meetings would have been packed.
From someone who has lived in Bozeman for for 44 years, I feel Bozeman is headedin the wrong direction. We are #9 IN THE NATION for binge drinking (!) and theCity Commission is encouraging this. The enforcement of open containers is almostimpossible.
But maybe a Lenco Bearcat ( Ballistic Engineered Armored Response Counter AttackTruck) rumbling down Main Street at 2AM would do the trick to clear the drunks!
We are touting ourselves as a healthy place to raise a family, sports oriented etc etc.We are not a town of fear and anger. I can't wait to see Outside Magazine in theirnext issue of " 10 Best Towns to Live In" to also write that Bozeman is safe becausewe own a Counter Attack Truck !!! There has got to be a better way our lawenforcement personnel can protect themselves.
Thank You. send it back.Joan Montagne
