The Disaster and Emergency Services Division (DES), Montana Department of Military Affairs has approved your Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) Grant application. This grant is a 100% federal share. The federal amount approved for the entire project is $253,537. We at Disaster and Emergency Services (DES) share in your enthusiasm about this grant and recognize your hard work and perseverance in the preparation of your application. We look forward to assisting you throughout your project. Outlined within the enclosures of this letter are specific HSGP administrative instructions for financial management of all funds associated with this grant. We request you thoroughly review these instructions, which include several Federal requirements. We also request that any changes in your work schedule and/or scope of work be submitted to the MTDES Grant Bureau as soon as possible. Additional changes, updates and/or modifications to your financial budgeted plans must also be submitted to MTDES Grants Bureau as soon as possible, and all updated information included in your quarterly reports. Box 4789 Fort Harrison, MT 59636-4789 Dear Steve: This letter is to confirm that the Bozeman PD, in accepting a Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) grant for the FFY13 HS Bozeman PD -Response Vehicle, is fully aware that the project funding will be conducted as follows: • HSGP Funding $ 253,537 It is understood the total project cost projection is based upon preliminary estimates and may be subject to change. It is also understood that the Bozeman PD is prepared to satisfy the requirements of the grant. The value of the local contributions may exceed the Federal award amount but no additional FEMA Federal funds are available. Also as part of the requirements the Bozeman PD understands that final reimbursement may be dependent on an operational test or on-site visit conducted and witnessed by the state upon close out of the project. The Bozeman PD will collect and provide detailed documentation to verify expenditures associated with this project and submit at time of reimbursement request.
