Sec. l.
That it is hereby CLeclared to be the intention of the
City Com-
mission of the City
of Bozeman, State of
Montana, to create a special improvement

and. designated as Special Improvement DistrictNb. 260 of said

That the boundaries of said Special Improvement District
No. 260
to be created are
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Tracy Avenue South,
said point
being 140 feet south. of the extended south line of the Alley
which has been
opened by deed thru Block A of Story's Ad.clition to the City
of Bozeman,
Montana; thenc e we st paralle 1 with and. 140 feet south of
the south line of
said alley to the center line of Willson Avenue South; thence
north along
the said. center line of Willson Avenue South to a point 140
feet north of
the extended north line of the a,lley de'scribed above ; thence
east parallel
with and 140 feet north of the north line of said. alley to~hecenter
line

Sec. 3.
That it is hereby declared to be the intention of said
Ci ty Com- l.).

of Bozeman, state of

proposed special improvement
district as defined in SecUon 2 of this Resolution,
abutting on saHl improvement,
will be specially and equally benefitted by the im-
provements contemplated,
and should eq,ually bear the cost of said. improvements in
accordance with the
laws of the state of J1'Iontana in such case made andprov~ded.

That the character of the improvem€;nts to be mad,e with:l,n

The construction of concrete pavement and storm sewer in the
first alley

Sec. 5.
Th,ctt an approximate estimate of the cost of. doing

including excavation, concrete pavement,
storm sewer, engineer ing, inspe ct ion
and. incidentals,
is Three Thousand, Six Hundred Twenty.,.one Dollars
($3621.00) .
Sec. 6.
That the total area of the land wi thin said proposed
district to
be taxed,. for the
cost of said improvements

Sec.
'7.
That the entire cost and expense of making said special improve-
ments in said proposed
District No.
260 shall be :paid by 81)ecial Improvement District
Coupon Bonds as authorized
by the laws of the
State of Montana,
which bond3 shall be
in the denomination
of One Hundred Dollars
(;$100.00 )
each and in fractions where
necessary,
to be issued. and chargeable against a fund
to be known as Speeial Improve-
ment District No.
260 Funcl,
said bonds to be redeemable at
the option of the City of
Bozeman, Montana,
whenever funds are available for that :pU1'l1OSe from saiet Special Im-
provement. District
No. 260 Fund.
Said bonds shall dl'aw simple interest at the rate
of six per cent. pOI'
anmnn, which shall be ohargeable as a part of the cost of said

shall run from the rlate of the r'egistration of rmid. bonds until said
bonds are paid.
Sec.
S.
To pay said bonds and interest thereon, representing the

said improvement,
a special
assessment shall be levied against all of the lands with-
in said proposed.
Spe cial Improvement District No.
260 as hereinbefore defined,
each
sg:uare foot of the
area thereof to be assessed. anct taxerl f01' its proportionate share
of such entire cost,
exclusive
of streets, avenues,
alleys and public places.
Sec.
9.
Said a:3sessmEmt and taxes sJ:lall be payable in six annual install-
ments with six per
cent. annual
interest on deferred payments commencinC with
the
year 192'7,
but this :provision shall not be construed.
to prevent full pa:,rment at any
time.
Sec.
10.
That the regular session of the City Commission of the Cit-J of
Bozeman,
State of Montana,
to be helr1 in 'the Commission Chamber,

That the Clerk of the said. City Commission of the City of Boze-

be, and he is hereby directed to give notice as required by
law,
of the adoption of this Resolution.
