Yihich Commission Resolutions Nos. 148 and 150 passed as aforesaid are hereby
referred to and made a part of this Resolution for further particulars in respect
to the boundaries of said district, the
character 0 f the improvement s to be con-
structed therein, the estimated cost of said improvements,
and the method of
assessing the cost against the property within said district; and

s as contemplated in said Commission Resolut ions
Nos. 148 and 150 have been constructed and completed in acoordance with the terms
and conditions of Commission Resolutions Nos. 148 and 150, and the total cost of
said improvements so constructed is the sum of Five Thousand Three Hundred Sixty
Five Dollars and T~lirty Cents ($5365.30);

to the provisLms of Sections 5225 to 5277 and
5485, RCM, 1921, and amendments
thereto,

CITY OF DOZEr/WI, STATE OF l!iONTANA:
Sec. 1.
That to defray the cost and expense of constructing and making
the improvements in said Special Improvement District No. 2'78, there be,
and there
is hereby levied and assessed, a tax amounting
to the swn of Five Thousand Three
Hundred and Sixty Five Dollars and Thirty Cent s ($5365.30) upon all the property
in said Special Improvement District No. 278; that a particular desoription of
each lot and parcel of land vii th the name of the owner and the sum assessed

against him or it for such improvements and the amount of each partial payment to
be made and the day when the same shall be delinquent is set forth in detail in the
assessment list hereto attached, marked Schedule "A" and made a purt hereof; that

the several smns set 01!posite the names of the owners and the described lots and
parcels of land be, and the same are l.ereby respect ively levied
and assessed upon
and against said described lots and parcels of land to defray the cost and expense
of constructing and r~king the said improvements within said District;
that the
several sums so assessed be collected from the respective owners of said lots and
parcels of la:;d described in said assessment list Schedule HAlt,
as required by law;
that the payment of said sums shall be made in six installments and the pa;Y1llent of
said instalbnents shall extend over a period of six years; that the payment of the
respecti ve annual installments shall be tlade on or before the 30th day of November,
of each year until payment of all the installments together with the interest thereof
shall be made; that said sums shall be paid and the collec~;ion thereof SJ:::.all be
made in the manner and in accordance with the law governing the collection of special
improvement taxes; that failure to pay such asseSslnents when tl:le same shall become
due and payable shall make such persons and said lots and parcels of land liable
to the penalties provided by law relative to delinquent taxes;
Sec. 2. That the regular sessi<m of the Commission of the
City of I
Bozeman to be held in the Commiss ion Chamber, in the City
Hall of said City the
22nd day of AUGust, 1930, at
Four O'clock P. ~., be, and the same is Ilereby des-
ignated as the time and place at which objections to the final adoption of this
Resolution will be heard by the said Commission;
Se c. 3. That the Cler}:: of the Commission of the City of
Bozeman be, nnd
she is hereby ordered and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily LJllronicle,
a
daily newspaper printed and published in the said City of Bozeman,
a notice signed
by the Clerl\: of the Commission, and stating that a Resolution levyinG a special
assessment of taxes to defray the cost and expense of constructing and making the
improvements in said Special Improvement District No. 278 is on file in the office
of the Clerk of the Commission subject to inspection for
a period of five (5) days;
that said notice shall state the time and place at which objections will be heard
by the Commission to the final adopticJl1 of' this Resolution; that it shall be pub-
lished at least five (5) days before the day set by the Commission for hearinG of
objections and the final adopt ion of this Resolution.
Passed and adopted by the Conmlission of the City of Bozeman at a regular

. NOTICE IS lJEHEBY GIVEn, That at a regular sess ion of the COTIll:nission of
the City of Bozeman, held on Friday the 15th day of August, 1930, Commission
Resolution Ho. 193 was duly passed and adopted; tJ.lat said Commission Resolution
levies and assesses a special assessment of taxes upon all the property in Special
Improvement District No. 278 in sa id City, to defray the cost a':'ld expense of con-
structing and making the improvements within said District, to-wit:
The GradinG, the paving with two course crushed c;ravel
macad8I!l pavemcnt, and the installo.ticn of concrete
curbs and such drainage structures as may be necessary
on Wallace Avenue South between the south line of East
Main Street and the south line of East Curtiss Street;
Th[~t, sa id Comnission Resol ut ion No. 193 is 1101"1 on file in the office
of the Clerk of the C0Il1111issio" subject to inspection for a IJeriod of five (5)
days by any persons interested. That Friday, the 22nd day of August, 1930, at
Four 0 'clock P. II,i., of said day at the regular sess ion of the said Commission of
the City of Bozeuan, [0 t the Commission Chamber in the City Hall Building of said
City, has been designated as tho time and place when and where the said COTIunission
I will hear and pass upon ccny and all objections that may be made to the final
. passage and adoption of said Resolution No. 193 and the levying of said assessn~nt,
and that said Resolution will be finally passed and adopted at said regular
session.
All persons interested are referred to Commission Resolution No. 148,
declaring it to be the intention of the Commission to create Special Improvement
District No. 278, and Conunission Resolution No. 150, creating Special Improvement
District No. 278 for constructing and making the improvements thereirl..
