C. 1/I., 1921, and amendments thereto, BE 1'1' HESOLVED AIm IT IS lIEREBY ORm~RED BY THE CONn..ISSION OF THE CITY I OF BOZ:E::hlliN, STATE OF MONTANA: Sec. 1. That to defray the cost and expense of constructing and making the improvements in said Special Improvement District No. 281, there be, and there is hereby levied and assessed, a tax amounting to the sum of Five Thousand Fifty- Four Dollars and Sixty Five Cent;:; ($:J054. 65) upon all the p:':'Ol)erty in said Spec ial . Improvement District No. 281; that a purticular description of each lot and parcel , of land with the name of the owner and the SlUll assessed against him or it for such --- .-.-- ..--.--...--- .-~ 9.4 _u_._ ._ n____ improvements and the amount of each partial payment to be made and the day when the same shall be delinQuent is set forth in detail in the assessment list hereto attached, marked Schedule "A" and made a part hereof; that the several sums set op:gosite the I names of the owners and the described lots and parcels of land be, and the sarne are hereby respectively levied and assessed upon and against said described lots and parcels of land to defray the cost and expense of constructing and makinG said improve- ments within said District; that the several SUIIlS so assessed be collected from the respective owners of said lots and parcels of land described in said assessment list Schedule "A", as required by law; that the payment of said sums shall be made in seven installments and the payment of said installments shall extend over a period of six years; that the payrllent of the respective annual installments shall be made on or before the 30th day of NoverMer, of each year until payment of all the installments together with the interest thereof shall be made; that said sums shall be paid and the collection thereof shall be made in the manner and in accordance with the law governinG the collection of special improvement taxes; that failure to pay such assessment s when the same shall become due and payable shall make such persons and said lots and parcels of land liable to the penalties provided by law relative to delinQuent taxes; Sec. 2. That the regular session of the Coromission of' the City of BozeIJan I to be held in the Connnission Chamber, in the City Hall of said City the 19th day of September, 1930, at Four O'clock P. M., be, and the same is hereby designated as the time and place at which objections to the final adoption of this Hesolution will be heard by the said Commission; Sec. 3. That the Clerk of the Commission of the City of Bozernan be, and she is hereby ordered and directed to publish in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, a daily newspaper printed and published in the said City of Bozeman, a notice signed by the Clerk of the Commission, and stating that a Resolution levying a special assessment of taxes to defray the cost and expense of constructing and making the improvements in said Special Improvement District No. 281 is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Commission subject to inspection for a period of five (5) days; that said notice shall state the time and place at which objections will be heard by the Cormnission to the final adoption of this Resolution; that it shall be p"tlblished at least five (5) days before the day set by the Commission for the hearing of objections and the final adoption of this Hesolution. NOTIC:;:: IS HEREBY GIVEN, That at a regular session of the CO,,111ission of the City of Bozeman, held on Friday, the 12th day of SeptelJ.ber, 1930 , Commission Resolution No. 19? ....7as duly passed and adopted; that said Oommission Hesolution levies and assesses a special assessment of taxes upon all the pI~perty in Special Improvement District No. 281 in said City, to defray the cost and expense of con- structing and making the improvements within said District, to-wit: The Grading, the paving Vii th two course crushed gravel macadmn pavement, and t he installation of concrete curbs and such drainage structures as may be necessary on Seventh Avenue South between the south line of V~est Babcock Street and the north line of West Koch Street; Tho. t , said Commission Resolution No. 19? is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Commission, subject to inspection for a period of five (5) days by any persons interested. That Friday, the 19th day of September, 1930, at Four O'clock P. LT., of said day at the regular session of the said Commission of' the City of Bozeman, at the Cownission Chamber in the City Hall Building Of said City, I has been designated as the time and place when and where the said Commission will hear and pass upon any and all obje ct io.:s that mo.y be made to the final passa{;:e and adoption of said Resolution No. 197 and the levying of said assessment, and that said Resolution vlill be finally passed and adopted at said regulc~r session. All pers:ms interested are referred to Commission Resolution No. 155 declaring it to be the intention of the Commission to create Special Improvement District ITa. 281, and the Commission Hesolut ion No. 158, creating Special Improve- ment District No. 281 for constructing and makinG the improvements therein.
